That quote is so true. I feel that way about my favorite books. I think you would like Juliet Marillier's writings; Daughter of the Forest is a good one to start with.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to add it to my (rather long) list of "Books I Want to Read". I looked it up on BN.com, though, and it looks interesting. I've always liked the fairy tale it was based on.
Sorry it's taken me so long to update the blog. I hate to make excuses, but life has been crazy lately. Maybe I'll get settled down in the next week or two and back to books.
